Q) Will it fit on my SUV? 

  A) We have had no modifications on any SUV to Date.

  Q) Will it work on my Bumper hitch?

  A) YES

  Q) Can I use it on multiple Trailer Balls?

  A) Yes. You must designate only one Trailer Ball at a time you cannot use mutliple Trailer balls on same surface as Safety Sentry at present.  Multiple Receiver Hitch Balls will not work at present with Safety Sentry due to the application of welded trailer balls. 

  Q) Do I have to use Safety Chains also?

  A) If your State requires Safety Chains You Must Comply with your State Laws

  Q) Will Safety Sentry work on all bumpers? 

  A) After using Safety Sentry on many bumper application without any modifications we have only found one type bumper that will need modification. If you have a padded base on your trailer ball mounting YOU MUST Make sure that your bumper is recommended for the towing application most of these type bumpers are not recomended for the towing capacity needed for trailer towing.  If your bumper is recommended for towing capacities you MUST REMOVE PAD on the base in order for Safety Sentry to pivot while turning.

  Q) What all do I need to install Safety Sentry to my vehicle? 

  A) You will need a 10" or 12" crescent wrench or Box end wrench to fit Lock Nuts provided with Safety Sentry along with a Pipe Wrench or large Channel Locks to use as back up on your Trailer Ball while installing Safety Sentry on your vehicle for full protecton of your Safety Sentry Total Safety System.  

  Q) Will Safety Sentry prevent theft of my trailer? 

  A) Safety Sentry System has included Nylon Locking Nuts for your Existing Trailer Ball and a Stainless Steel Freon Resistant Lock as part of our Maximum Protection Package. Nothing is Theft Proof but we feel we have / or will give a thief a challenge.  The hasp of the Stainless Steel Lock (Included) will not allow the space available for lock cutters or blades with the design of the Safety Sentry.

  Q) Can I leave my Safety Sentry on my Trailer Ball when I am not Towing?  Yes.. The Safety Sentry System successfully encapsulates the entire trailer ball and should not effect your bumper or receiver hitches.  I would suggest for your continued Security of your Safety Sentry System to install a (Keyed Lock Hitch Pin) if you are leaving your trailer unattended for any extended periods of time and to prevent theft of your receiver hitch.  Most of our distributors are suppliers of Keyed Lock Hitch Pin if not we will be offering this product on our website in the near future.

  Q) Is there a Safety Sentry for my Gooseneck Trailer application?

  A) Due to popular demand we expect to offer a Gooseneck application in Summer of 2009

  Q) Will Safety Sentry lower my insurance rates? 

  A) At present we are working on the possibilities of lowering insurance rates using Safety Sentry

  Q) Will Safety Sentry take the place of Safety Chains?  If your State Law requires safety chains you must comply with your local or state laws. We at Safety Sentry feel that Safety Chains serve a purpose but we also feel that Safety Chains can also cause sever accidents if installed properly or improperly.  There are many States that DO NOT require Safety Chains be sure to you comply with your State and Local Laws when towing.

  Q) Where can I buy the Safety Sentry? 

  A) We are choosing Stores other than the Website but due to the Overwhelming demand we are trying to first handle our customers we have through our websites and our locations of demostrations.  Currently we are choosing retailers throughout the country.  Meanwhile, you can purchase Safety Sentry through our website or from your local distributor.

  Q)Will Safety Sentry hamper turning radius?

  A) No the Safety Sentry will not Hamper your turning radius. Its designed to give maximum range with the pivoting base. While keeping your Trailer Ball Secure on your reciever or bumper.

  Q)Will Safety Sentry protect my trailer from coming off if my Hitch is not latched?

  A) Safety Sentry is designed to protect IF your hitch becomes disengaged. On all applications Safety Sentry provides maximum safety.  The Safety Sentry System is not used to replace faulty hitches nor do we feel that you should trailer without total safety. This safety device is to protect in case of worn or faulty hitches become dislodged we recomend you make a secure connection with your trailer hitch and use this application as an additional protection ONLY Regular inspection of your components are recomended and strongly encouraged.

  Q) Will Safety Sentry give mobility when I am going up and down hills?  Safety Sentry is designed to give full mobility. 

  A) Safety Sentry is built to withstand all standard towing applications.  On all towing applications you must follow standard towing guidlines.  Make sure your trailer is level within reason for maximum safety and security.
